Sauer Quarter Horses

About Me -

I own a small breeding program located near Stanley, New Mexico.  I've been involved in the equine industry for 25+ years and I believe that honesty, patience and matching the right horse with the right person/family is what creates a solid foundation for a successful lifetime partnership between horse and man/woman.

I'm very knowledgeable in raising & handling foals/weanlings, starting young horses, as well as stallion handling & mare management. I'm well versed in competitive speed events such as barrel racing, pole bending & roping, on down to ranch/cattle work. I have many references available upon request.

I am not a horse "trader" and I do have a first right of refusal on all horses I sell. Each and every horse on the ranch is treated like a family member.  I take pride in AQHA horses and the breed's founding heritage, but also have knowledge in other breeds as well.

I offer my photography and advertising services. I do require a $300 deposit for advertising your sale horse and a $50 travel fee (up to 100 miles). This fee covers all photos/videos taken and the fees associated with paid sales & advertisement sites including Facebook and YouTube, pedigree links with Allbreed and bloodline concentration analysis done by me. Give me a call to discuss your needs.

I'm always looking forward to meeting new people and talking horses of different breeds & disciplines. Photography of horses, cattle, landscape, windmills, ranch work etc. is a huge passion of mine, though I'm no professional by any means. If you need photos taken, I'd love to help you.

I'm always working to support numerous causes in the ranching and agricultural industry across the country especially during times of natural disasters (wildfire, flooding etc.) If you need support for a cause please do contact me.

*We have been a layover spot at our old location in the past and still do offer short term layover services at our new location. We will be expanding our facilities and RV hook-ups at our new location in 2018. Contact Amy with any inquiries, we'd be happy to help with your layover needs.
